Announcements following church council meeting on 21 May 2022

1. We will celebrate our first parish anniversary on 17th July 2022 and a committee will be constituted to plan for the event. SCC are requested for their support.
2. Three additional devotional groups will be formed namely; Sacred Heart & DivineMercy, Young Christian Workers and Couples for Christ. PP will organise for for a seminar on the same.
3. This year we have a diocesan obligation towards family day of Kes 1.8M . Each Jumuiya is requested to contribute an amount of Kes 50,000 by September 2022.
4. The Monthly SCC contribution towards church cleaning has been revised from Kes 1,000 to Kes 2,000.

SMA Youth Day 2022

On Sunday 30 January 2022,  over 200 young people from the four parishes of Embulbul, Jericho, St. Monica and Sts. John and Sylvia took part in the annual SMA youth day at Sts. John and Sylvia, Our Lady of Divine Shrine.

The youth enjoyed a special day that included activities such as animating the holy mass (9am),  motivational talks from deacons and senior SMA priests, one on one sessions with SMA priests, cooking and playing sports  such as volleyball, chess and badminton.
