ANNOUNCEMENTS: PENTECOST SUNDAY

  1. We request parishioners whose children received Holy Communion during Easter and those parishioners who have not yet received the sacrament of confirmation to register at the parish office immediately after this Mass. The commencement date for classes will be announced next Sunday.
  2. Those parishioners who stopped receiving Holy Communion, and would now wish to start receiving Holy Communion, are requested to meet the parish priest to discuss that possibility.
  3. The senior youth will be having a meeting after the second mass that will highlight on requirements for their hike on the 25th of May this coming Saturday. All guardians are requested to let them attend this meeting since it is very important especially to those attending the hike.
  4. The Opus Dei Recollection comes up next Saturday. The ladies Recollection begins at 9am while the men’s Recollection starts at 2pm. There will be confession from 8am.
  5. We are invited for a second collection to congratulate the newly ordained priest Fr Tobias.

  1. Thomas’ will be winding his service in our Parish soon. Next Sunday will be his final Sunday. As we usually do, we shall have a second collection at all Masses in all our Outstations to thank Fr. Thomas for his wonderful service and stay in our parish.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: 33RD SUNDAY ORDINARY TIME

  1. Today CWA will be having a seminar after second Mass at the Sunday school building. All ladies are invited.
  2. Next Saturday being the last Saturday of the month, there will be a Recollection organized by Opus Dei, recollection for ladies will start at 9AM and men at 2PM. The Ladies’ Recollection will begin with

Confessions from 8AM.

  1. Next Sunday will be the last Sunday of the liturgical year, when we celebrate the Solemnity of Christ the King. The Church recommends that all Catholics to hold a Procession on this day. The weather conditions and other logistic challenges may not allow us to hold this Procession. However, we shall have one hour Adoration (Holy hour) immediately after the second Mass, Let’s come prepared for this important spiritual exercise in honour of Christ the King in our lives.
  2. 26/11/2023 After Mass, all our Priests will be away for one week to attend their Annual Retreat at Nakuru.Therefore there will be no Jumuiya and weekday Masses that week.
  3. 02/12/2023 will be diocesan Family Day at Ngong Diocese. The parish Chairman will organize our parade representation through our Jumuiyas and Church Groups.
  4. On 09/12/2023 our Parish will host the SMA Foundation Day. It will bring together Christians from parishes served by SMA Fathers in Kenya. All Parishioners are invited, thank you as you to plan to attend these important celebrations. Details of the Day’s programme will be shared in the coming Sundays.

 

MATANGAZO: JUMAPILI YA THELATHINI NA TATU KIPINDI CHA KAWAIDA

  1. Leo CWA watakuwa na semina baada ya Misa hii kule kwenye jengo la Sunday school. Kina mama wote wa parokia yetu wanaalikwa.
  2. Jumamosi ijayo ni Jumamosi ya mwisho ya mwezi, kutakuwa na recollection ya Opus Dei. Maombi ya wanawake itaanza saa tatu asubuhi na ya wanaume ni saa nane mchana.Sakramenti ya kitubio ni saa mbili kamili asubuhi. Sote tunaalikwa.
  3. Jumapili ijayo ni Jumapili ya mwisho ya mwaka wa liturujia tunapoadhimisha sherehe ya Kristo Mfalme, kanisa linapendekeza wanakatolili wote wafanye maandamano siku hio, Ila kwa sababu ya hali ya anga na changamoto nyinginezo, hatutakuwa na maandamano (procession). Badala yake tutakuwa na ibaada ya kuabudu sakramenti takatifu (Adoration) baada ya Misa ya pili.Tunaombwa tujiweke tayari kwa zoezi hili muhimu la kiroho kwa heshima ya Kristo Mfalme katika maisha yetu.
  4. Kuanzia Jumapili ijayo tarehe 26/11/2023 baada ya Misa, Mapadre wetu watasafiri kwenda Nakuru kwa retreat yao ya SMA Fathers.Hivyo basi hatutakuwa na Misa kuanzia Jumatatu hadi Jumamosi.
  5. Tarehe 02/12/2023 ni Family day ya Ngong Diocese kule Ngong. Mwenyekiti wa parokia atatoa muongozo jinsi tutakavyowakilisha parokia yetu kupitia kwa Jumuiya na vikundi vya kanisa.
  6. Tarehe 09/12/2023 ni SMA Foundation day ambayo itafanyika hapa parokiani.Siki hii, wakristo kutoka parokia zinazohudumiwa na SMA Fathers pamoja na seminarians,watajumuika hapa parokiani kwa Misa takatifu na sherehe maalum nchini .Maelezo Zaidi na programu ya siku hiyo yatatolewa baadaye.

  1. This coming Saturday (4/10/2023), being the first Saturday of the month there will be a parish recollection from 9am. All parishioners are welcome.
  2. 1ST of November we will celebrate solemnity of all saints, Holy Mass will start at 6:30am in the morning and all parishioners are encouraged to attend. On 2nd November is all Souls day and we will have special prayers for the departed souls of our loved ones. Holy Mass will start at 6pm in the evening. All parishioners are encouraged to attend the Mass.
  3. As announced last Sunday the venue for boys initiation has changed from Vanessa Primary to Stepping stone academy-EPZ the other factors remain unchanged. Parents who have not yet registered their boys can register in the parish office.
  4. We invite the Parish PFC chair to give direction and program of the upcoming Harambee.

Tarehe Moja Novemba tutaadhimisha sikukuu ya watakatifu wote (Solemnity of All saints).Misa takatifu itaanza saa Kumi na mbili na nusu asubuhi(6:30am).Wanaparokia wote wanaombwa kuhuduria Misa hii muhimu. Tarehe Mbili Novemba ni Siku ya kumbukumbu ya roho za marehemu wote. (All souls Day).Tutakuwa na maombi maalum kwa ajili ya ndugu zetu waliotutangulia.Misa takatifu itaanza saa kumi na mbili jioni (6:00pm).Sote tunakarimbishwa.
  3. Vijana wetu ambao wanaojiandaa kwenda kutahiri wataishi kwenye mabweni ya Stepping Stones school-EPZ na sio Vennessa primary school kama ilivyotangazwa Jumapili iliyopita. Kwa maelezo Zaidi na pia kwa wazazi ambao bado hawajasajili watoto wao wanombwa kuwasiliana na ofisi ya parokia.
  4. Tunamkaribisha mwenyekiti wa Kamati ya fedha ili kutoa muongozo na pragramu ya Harambee ijayo.
